Our Friday night experience begins with Roots & Rhythms, an interactive workshop where we’ll explore Afro-Cuban songs, percussion, rhythm, and the cultural roots behind the dance.
Then we’ll transition into our Community Showcase, followed by a Welcome Social where everyone is invited to dance, connect, and celebrate together.

Friday | Community Kickoff

Kick off the weekend with an evening of music, movement, culture, and community. Through the Roots & Rhythms Workshop, live performances, and a welcome social, participants will experience the traditions that shape Cuban dance while connecting with fellow dancers and artists.

Spend the day exploring Afro-Cuban movement, history, music, and cultural traditions through an immersive training led by Yusniel Garcia.
